You know I know I say this all the time but, it's true. I am thankful for the good friends I have made here on H/U.

It's true my pain and isolation brought me here but, look what came out of it. I have maybe a dozen close friends here after a year. However, they are strong, fierce supporters of me and help me get through some bad days and nights.

I also met my sweetie here. So I am thankful for H/U period!

Oh yeah that’s a great one, Hope. I’m loving the cool crisp air and frost of the season but not for too long. Heating we sometimes take for granted.

Today I am thankful for privacy, quiet, and my own space. I don’t have that now as workers are almost constantly in the house banging and sawing. They say the job will take about three weeks and this is the end of week two. I have a feeling it will take longer than they estimated. It really gets my fight or flight or freeze feelings going ugh.

Oh man that’s something I struggle with too! Builders , plumbers in our safe place ! Arghh! Just get busy doing something such as writing or drawing or music or colouring or watching something to stay distracted x hope that helps
