Yesterday I had a really bad panic attack at the office. It started with headache and pressure in the head, but quickly ecalated into a million different symptoms all over, so naturally I just thought I was going to die right then and there. Since I work in a hospital, I went and had my bp and pulse checked and when both came high, I was like: "this is it, I'm done for this life". After the panic waters receded, I just felt embarassed and like crying.
But, today is another day! I'm actually not feeling well, but I'm showing up.
To everyone facing this: You ROCK!!!!! This is so difficult to navigate, but you're doing it!!! I'm proud of the people who do them even when we're not feeling 100%. If you're not up to do everything while feeling so overwhelmed, that's ok too. Just do one thing, this too shall pass.
