Blood mixed with stool. Bloating.

Anyone have these symptoms? The GI put me on metamucil, i no longer have constipation but still have brain fog and feelings of derealization and dazed. The blood is usually bright. Sometimes darker. Idk wats wrong.

It is a good idea to consult your doctor anytime you notice that you have blood in your stools. It could simply be hemorrhoids, however; your doctor will be the best one to discuss this over with. I hope you feel better

If your doctor put you on Metamucil and you no longer are constipated let your doctor know that you are no longer constipated and ask if you can get all of the Metamucil however let them know that you do see blood, it may be something as simple as hemorrhoid because when people are constipated they push harder and can break a blood vessel which will cause blood or irritation so that sounds like what’s happening however a doctor would be the one to consult preferably a G.I. doctor also when you’re constipated a lot more stool will come out which can also irritate your colon or rectum and maybe caused some blood from so much coming out, so make an appointment with your G.I. doctor and have them take a little look and they will probably figure it out in one visit Good luck and keep in touch
