Just a conversation starter. It doesnt even neccesarily have to be weird either!

What's the oddest thing you've had a panic attack over?
Ive had panic attacks about trying not to panic ugghh its horrible
SAME. I tell myself... no reason to panic so I'm not going to argue with myself. Boom. Not panicking made me panic ππ
I panic thinking my car is going to run out of gas.
Forgetting someone's name.
The funny thing is: I still can't remember their name!
Pancakes scare the $#!* out of me! EW!!! I get panic attacks sometimes when people cook those nasty things anywhere near me!
I laughed so hard at this π omg
Iβm sorry it really isnβt funny but a fear of pancakes! That is unique for sure. I pray you donβt see any pancakes being made any time soon.
Why is that?! Got to know! I'm scared of cooking with grease If that makes you feel any better π
They're disgusting! The taste, the smell, the look-of both the cooked thing and the (gag) BATTER!!! Bleeett!!!
So do you not like any batters? Like cake, pancake, brownie, etc? Is it like a consistency/textural thing?
Riding in elevators
Hey I hear ya. I work in a hospital. almost no way around them besides the stairs and I'm lazy π
Me Too afraid of elevators that is Was in hosp. (heart) and the cardiac consultant nearly had heart attack himself when he found out I was using stairs (due to fear) couldn't convince him that elevators were worse for me. Had to get porter if I wanted to go upstairs which made me feel guilty so made myself use elevator!!!
Last time I had a panic attack, it was because I knew I was going to be stuck sitting next to someone I didn't like at the movies. Kind of sad...
Certain smells make me panic. Also the taste of sweet gum. Lol
Really? How unique
I can relate to this. There are certain smells from two traumas I experienced. They send me over the edge when I smell them.
Putting petrol in the car and the gauge going over the amount I need....and it always does.........forgetting my pin no at shop checkout.... and do get confused π€·ββοΈ
Yes forgetting my pin is one I get a panic attack over when Iβm at the till too ππ. Iβm getting more forgetful too haha ππ
I imagine them having to put all the food back π©π©π©

Nothing I just go into a panic attack for no reason...
I panic over SO MANY THINGS, most of us likely panic or have anxiety over similar things like chest pain, breathing, going outside, driving, being alone, sleeping, etc.
I get extreme anxiety over eating new things. I absolutely refuse to try anything new. If someone cooks for me, I always ask what is inside of anything I am trying. Also, in the same frame of mind, I refuse to eat anything past its expiration date, or if I cannot find an expiration date on it, I wont eat it. For a while there, when my anxiety returned, I was afraid to eat anything, I thought someone was going to tamper with my food and it would kill me. I ended up losing 30 pounds in the first 2 months because of it.
I have never been allergic to animals but now I freak out when I have cat/dog hair on me or in my face because I am afraid I am going to have an anaphylactic reaction.
Also, I LOVE animals, but now when my dog pays me more attention then usual, I get so much anxiety because I am afraid that he is sensing something in me like cancer, heart attack, etc. :((((
I had a panic attack about trying on clothes and being in a change room hahaha
I panicked over saying the word panic. π€¦πΎββοΈ Thatβs when I knew that I had control over my attacks.
