My football team has just been closed down and removed from the English football league. I have been watching them week in week out for 54 years !!! They were one of the oldest members 125 years. Now I could look at what Ive lost !! or look to a new start, reform and start again ! Which do you think I have decided to opt for ???????

I LOVE FOOTBALL SEASON (even if we play ours differently). I’m across the pond and don’t know what I’d do if I couldn’t watch the GB Packers. Oh wait, I do know what I’d do - find a new “favorite” team. When I moved from New Jersey to Florida, I left the Giants and embraced the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. They won the Super Bowl that year. 10 years ago I met and became close friends with a Green Bay native. Visited Lambeau (Packers home field), got a Cheese-hat, and put out my fan flag every August. I’ve been watching the game for over 50 years, too. I admire your positive choice and love, love, love the photo. Thanks for sharing it. Lynne.

Good for you! There is a way to stream it on your computer..that's what we do here in the U.S. when our team isn't on...Yep The Cleveland Browns...hopefully we're climbing out of a very deep hole...maybe they'll bring em back for you...as I like to say..what will be will be...you have such a great attitude , I love it...

Are you a Browns fan? Ha...did you know out of all the sports teams out there ..we are the biggest fan base? Woof, woof....I'm so excited for this year...have you seen the pre season games? Man we have Baker, feeling dangerous!, Jarvis and O'Dell, Njoku and of course it goes on & on for us, finally! Last game offense didn't look too good..even Bake was off...could of been the receivers though being off...

Go Browns..take it to the end, fingers and everything else crossed, ha!

You guys really lucked out getting O’Dell. Giants loss, your gain. Haven’t seen a whole game yet, but have watched highlights, checked scores and players.

Interested to see what our (Packers) new coach does with team. Couldn’t tell much from the stupid Winnipeg game last week. None of the starters played and it was only an 80 yard field.

I don’t usually follow Browns, but will root for them for you (unless they’re playing GB, BUCS, Jaguars, Dolphins, Saints or Giants). Also I root for any team who plays New England, but am usually disappointed because they are so good.

Oh dear Gerrard I did hear this was on the cards and I am so sorry. Poor Bury. You can't now give your allegiance to another team. I vaguely remember the first time I heard of a team going bankrupt and this was Accrington Stanley. It shouldn't happen.

I have followed Manchester United for 51 years now and have great memories of the wonderful George Best, Bobby Charlton, Denis Law etc. Until I moved away I was at Old Trafford for every game. x

football fanatic gerrerd myself I remember back in the 90s my team celtic had been minutes away from disappearing forever thankfully a Canadian multi millionaire took over its been said ten minutes before the deadline was set.he transformed us built us a new stadium and cleared all the debt and now we run a proper club living within our means.dearly hope bury can come back and start again its been devastating to watch hopefully its not the end but the beginning of something new.

always live and hope been watching sky and the money was in the bank today and it is.they can get a high court junction stopping them banning them.then it would be up to all the other clubs and not the efl to vote on whether they can get a reprieve.always live and hope bury will always be bury true supporters will always be.

Take a look at AFC Wimbledon and how they rose from the ashes - It will take time , blood , sweat and tears but Bury will be back!

Can never understand in these situations why the premier league clubs couldn't put a rescue package together!??

Would have thought Man United might have stepped in considering their close connections!

Premier league are full of greed, they are killing small clubs like Bury, Bury won the FA cup twice before united and city were formed !
