Has anyone gone off Zyprexa by weaning or cold turkey?

I’m absolutely tired of meds for me right now. I’m tapering off and I’m wondering about others experiences. I’m nerveousish.

Don't come off this drug cold turkey you should taper it , can't blame you for wanting to get off it

Oh, definitely taper off. Cold turkey can cause some very miserable side effects and tapering can usually minimize or eliminate them. I've just tapered off 200mg of trazodone in 3 weeks and 400mg Seroquel with zero problems. Over the years, I've done it with Zyprexa and at least 12 other drugs, including Klonopin (supposedly addictive) and I'm getting ready to taper off Viibryd now.

They all served their purpose for a time, sometimes years and years, but then had to be reduced or eliminated. I don't understand why, but it seems our medicines have to be changed with some regularity. I hope all goes smoothly for you. Take care, Hugs and Love...🤗💜
