Questions About 5 HTP and Heavy Night Sweating

I have been taking 5 HTP and Magnesium for about 4 weeks now in order to help with anxiety and depression and so far it seems to be helping. I do not have a doctor nor can afford one right now and started taking both after going through seasonal effective disorder from prolonged sunlight exposure as I am outside upwards of 40+ hours a week in Florida sun and also I deal with general depression and anxiety. About a week in I woke up a couple times during the night completely drenched in sweat to the point where I had soaked my pillow and sheets and woke up feeling feverish. I dismissed it as just being sick but the last two nights I have had the same experience one night I woke feeling fine but again today I woke feeling feverish. I am 5 foot 7 and about 120 pounds and have been taking 150 MG of 5 HTP and 250 MG of Magnesium Dioxide about an hour before bed and initially it allowed me to fall asleep much easier but the past week seems to be less effective. Should I try lowering my dosage of the 5 HTP as from what I have researched I may now be getting too much seratonin or should I try taking it without the Magnesium as that could be part of it. I have had times where I got the same kind of night sweats before taking the 5 HTP and magnesium but that was maybe once every other month and this has been 3 times in a month. Taking the two has really seemed to make an improvement on my depression and anxiety so I don't want to just stop taking it but I also don't want to cause damage to myself in doing so.
