Oh I bet not lol the funny thing is it’s not far from home, but when I was younger I took those views for granted

I guess so when I think about it, but a lot of days I don’t have the motivation to make it up there.. even though I know I should, because it’s so nice once I’m there

I love mountains and forests, where abouts do you live?

in reply to Kkimm

Me too, And I live in Northern California (far enough north that there’s snow in winter) I’d tell you the town but most people don’t know it, so it’s easier to explain it like that lol

Sounds beautiful, I am in quite a pretty corner of England. I live in a black weatherboard cottage on a peninsular with creeks and salt marshes on one side and sandy beaches on the other. I love the sea also and you can spot seals and loads of different wading birds in the marshes and I swim in the sea all summer. I am a long way from mountains.

It is where they shot the film The Snow Goose with Jenny Agutter, from the book by the American author Paul Gallico. I am also a few miles from the beautiful meadows and river Stour where the artist Constable painted The Haywain. A place called Flatford in the county of Suffolk, in South East England.

I do think scenery and wildlife raises our spirits so much so I get out in it as much as possible.

I would love to hear what sort of wildlife you see. Have you ever seen a grizzly or black bear? Do you get many deers or racoons or any other mammals?

Best wishes

Kim
