Good list... a few others that have helped me are listing your surroundings: I am in my bedroom. In ___ (town). My dog is next to me. Going into much detail as you can until you feel calmer. I also add "And I'm safe" when I do it. Another is alphabet list... you pick a random thing like bands or flowers & you list something that begins with each letter of that group. Bands: Aerosmith, Backstreet Boys, the Cars, etc. It really distracts your mind.
