Finally!

I’ve been on my current Ativan dose (.25mg am/pm) for 40 days and have been anxious over the next cut but really wanting to just get it the heck over with!! Saw my psychiatrist today and she thought my anxiety’s still a little high, but when I told her I really wanted to make another cut she gave me the ok.

I was fearing these last 2 cuts because I heard the last ones are the hardest, but she told me to drop down to .375 at night, then start going every other night. Really hope this minimizes any withdrawal affects. (Even though I’m sure I’ll still talk myself into some!)

🤞

Callie, good luck with continuing to cut your doses. There will always be some

residual effect in coming off the drug but stay positive and follow your doctor's

advice. You will get there safe and sound. :) xx

Thank you! I did really well the first week on the smaller dose. This week I start every other night, then next week I go completely off the night dose. I’m a little nervous but excited to be moving forward!
