Mornings

Each morning I am back at square one struggling out of the pit. And days like today with rain make it worse. Set out my clothes. Have a routine. Exercise. Walk the dog. Eat a good breakfast. Put on music. There is plenty of helpful ideas. I just don't succeed. Tired.

I am not the one who feels blood pressure when its raining or is sunny (I am only 30 and my bp is actually really low thanks to sports), but I have odd feeling of connection with nature when it is rainy or just before rain.

My senses are all heightened and I feel calm and very energized.. as if I was a panther in jungle, preparing to head out to hunt.

Perhaps a result of spending all childhood as early as 3 around forest and wilderness. Wind in the trees, animals calming down slightly, and nature preparing to absorb the life-giving water just feels different and pleasant.

Beautiful.

I love the sound of heavy rain on the roof. It is comforting somehow, not sure why. I have a garden and grow lots of beautiful things so perhaps I am feeling the life force that the rain is bringing.

I love nature as well and as a kid spent hours on the ground watching insects about their daily lives. Ladybirds (ladybugs) and devils coachhorses were my friends.

Hi

I always find mornings are the hardest.

I have read that it is because we have a spike of the stress hormone cortisol in the mornings. It helped our ancestors be ready straight away to fight off that woolly mammoth that had entered the cave. If you see it like that, purely chemical you might be able to understand why you feel worse and just ignore it and it will pass.

Best wishes

Kim

Please remember Rome wasn't built in a day....look at yourself as a piece of art...you're in progress..just not finished yet...I find the first step is the most difficult..once you get going you really do feel better....if it's only a few accomplishments that's okay...just keep up the good fight for you..you can do this.....

May you have a beautiful day!

Dump trucks of love, peae, light, joy & hugs for you!!!
