Mental Disability

Has anyone applied and been approved for mental Disability? What's the wait time and how much have you drawn?

I’ve been on disability for mental health reasons since 2014. The wait time was about 6-8 months.

I applied last year and was denied even though I had a mountain of therapy notes and have failed ECT, TMS, Keytamine. I think I was to honest about having some good days and being able to get my daughter to school. It’s a lot of paperwork and really hard and depressing to write down how horrible your life is. My advice is to write about your very worst day and get a lawyer. Good luck to you.

I have a law firm out of Texas filing on my behalf. I know it's difficult to get, so didn't want to waste time trying myself.
