The only people without anxieties are those in that cemetery you passed the other day. Everybody else has their worries, disappointments, toxic relationships, stresses and losses.
The only difference for people with anxiety disorder is our tendency to exaggerate by a factor of ten every problem that comes our way. It's because of the sensitive state of our nerves.
So a headache must be a tumour. An upset stomach must be cancer. Tense chest muscles must be heart failure. And that new manager is bound to fire us.
These things may flicker across the minds of others, but to us they become self evident truths. We indulge in too much introspection and obsession instead of just getting on with life.
Many have real and serious problems. But do you really have to put up with those worries? Maybe take advice how to neutralise the cause of your anxiety, the remedy may involve a degree of ruthlessness on your part. But then great things are not easily won.
There is no problem in the world that cannot be settled by the application of human thought. So we are allowed to have hope for the future no matter how difficult things seem today.
I hope you enjoy what remains of the Easter holiday.
