Zoloft

I have been prescribed Zoloft. Don’t want to take it. Scare of the side effect. Any input?

Every med has side effects even over the counter ones such as paracetomal but if you had a headache you would take one wouldn't you? If you were unlucky enough to get side effects they would be very unlikely to be anything serious, but the most common ones. They are not strong powerful drugs you know which you can misuse! If you want help for your issues then take them. Try and take the first one with someone else around if that makes you feel better. x

I just started taking it as well a little less than a month ago. The first side effects that I encountered were headaches, sweating, and nausea. So far, it seems to be helping a little. I still have really bad problems with my panic attacks and anxiety, but I have a few weeks before it is supposed to be fully effective. Let me know if theres any other questions I could answer for you!

I also just started taking Zoloft a couple of weeks ago only on 25 MG a day the only side effects I had so far was restless leg and I think that’s no where’s near as bad as my anxiety for sure if that’s the only issues I have. What was the dosage prescribed? ☮️
