I suggest you focus on one thing at a time. Make a list of what's bothering you, so you won't keep turning it all over and over in your mind. It will help to give you some peace.
Good news about the job hunt, something should come through soon. As far as your boyfriend I wouldn't worry too much about it. It's too much to think about. He loves you and wants to try again. That says something. I hope you do get off the merry go round. It would give us hope that it's possible. Maybe when you start working you will feel better.
Meditation practice is supposed to help us with the negative thinking habit by training us to see the thoughts only as 'thoughts' and letting them pass through. Though my meditation practice is haphazard, I have been getting a little better at this. I also put on headphones and listen to either podcasts or audiobooks that I find inspirational or engaging - it helps.
