Just wanna be indoors.

How do you guys motivate yourself to leave your house when you’ve been there all day.. how do you shake off the heavy feeling and spend time with your family..

I think it's a matter of momentum. It takes a lot of energy to take that first step and change what you are doing, and after that there's nothing to it. It seems to be a part of human nature.

One step at a time... I felt like I couldn’t get motivated to do that. But eventually I did.

First step, go outside. Take a walk.

Go somewhere comfortable. I started outside, then places where there’s not too many people. Family does comfort me. So family is a good place to go.

Take small steps to start. Maybe just get up and do something in the house first. Then venture to the door and look out. Then try a short walk or just standing outside. As the other poster said, once you get started it is easier.
