I struggle with anxiety and depression too say the least. Through out my life I have struggled with having a eating disorder,Bipolar disorder,OCD,and social anxiety. I do see a therapist, and I take anti depression medications, which does help me feel better too. So basically I live one day at a time, and to be concerned about tomorrow when it gets there.

You conquer your days one day at a time and that’s something to be very proud of because you are willing to look forward to another day. If you ever need a friend I’ll be there (:
Thanks for writing in and sharing your story. I think it's important to have a place to go where others understand what you are talking about.
I suffered from many of the same debilitating emotions you are now experiencing, and I want to encourage you that help is out there, it just may not be found in the therapy sessions or your doctor's office.
There is another type of doctors who can help you more; a functional doctor who knows the human body way more than a regular doctor. Antidepressants might alleviate some of the depression, but they will never fix the underlying cause for it. Letting a functional doctor treat you will allow you to zero in on the problem area, which will include a series of blood, urine, stool, and saliva tests to determine what has gone amiss with your biochemistry. The other treatment available through this kind of doctor is neurofeedback, which allows a doctor to read the brain waves firing from the different sections of your brain to determine what is not firing properly. Simple noninvasive steps can be taken to activate these brain waves so they can fire on their own, resulting in re-training your brain, especially the part that is responsible for moods and emotions.
I am living proof this works and a functional doctor is the only one I will see for this type of problem. Feel free to write back if there's anything you'd like to talk about.
