How long did it take for you to notice a difference after starting Sertraline.

Usually 4 to 6 weeks for full effect...25mg is really low dose

I agree 25 mg is very low ! Does your doctor plan on raising the dose at some point ?

I started with 50 mg then I went up to 100 mg . I have friends who take 200 mg .

How long you have been taking it ? When are you planning on seeing your doctor again ?

I actually haven't started yet. We haven't discussed raising it. I am going to start tomorrow and my follow up is on the 21st. It's for my pmdd and I know the typical does is 50mg for that. Any side effects?

I actually lost 4 pounds in 2 weeks when I raise the dose to 100mg ! I was never hungry ! good luck !

In my case I noticed it straight away - with stomach related issues. These subsided in a few weeks. Did not get the full benefit until the increase to 100mg, no more anxiety since then.
