Hi all. This is strange for me but I really am seeking support. I found out my husband has been texting another woman from work for about a month now. Nothing sexual but the texts are flirty in nature and he hid it from me. He also got drinks with her after work two nights in a row while I was out of town. He claims they are friends but it really bothers be and I’m very hurt. His friends claim I’m just being “crazy” and over emotional which hurts even more. My husband doesn’t see any problems with texting another woman. I am already on the highest dose of anti depressants and am afraid I am going to turn to unhealthy coping mechanisms like relying on alcohol and Xanax. Anyone out there dealt with similar situations? I feel very alone.

You need to talk it out with him. When you’re in a calm mood, a calm open congenial discussion. If it bothers you this much, he should stop.
