Betterhelp.com?

Is anyone familiar with betterhelp.com? I'm doing a free trial right now but I just want to know if anyone here has used it and what your opinion is.

I used it for a brief moment & it didn’t help me at all. The therapist actually told me that I needed in depth, in person counseling & they closed my account. 😔

Wow that sounds so rude. I am so sorry that happened. Did they close your account without asking?

Wow I can't believe they did that! That is such a negative response, especially when people are going on there for help. Like you ask for help and they shut you out? How long ago was this?

It was several months ago. I actually posted about it on here when it happened, but I deleted it when I deleted a lot of my posts. It was just a big let down. She didn’t even really give me a chance to respond that I actually had an in person counselor. I just wanted to have someone that I could talk to more so during the day, you know? It was quite odd. I wouldn’t recommend betterhelp to anyone really.

I'll definitely keep this in mind. I'm only on the free trial and the counselor they gave me said I was over stressed, and I'm not quite sure if that fits. But it's only day one of the trial so we'll see. It's also definitely out of my budget so as soon as the free trial ends I'm gonna cancel before they start to charge me.

I completely understand. I actually only used three days of the trial before she closed my account. I really wanted to keep a membership with them too. I wrote her one long email, that was all the time she gave to me. I hope it works for you! Xoxoxo
