My name is Alice, I'm new here. Nice to meet you all.
I sometimes feel myself depressed even nothing big deal happens. I always try to not think about it and do something fun instead. However, I have felt depressed continuously recently. I went on Google and took a GAD test (Generalized Anxiety Disorder), and the result was YES. I am having the GAD.
Therefore, I think I need to work this out before it gets more severe.
Then I found this website. I hope we can help each other
Thank you for taking your time.

Hi Alice, so nice to meet you as well. Welcome to this amazing group of men and women.
We may be of all ages and careers in life but the one thing that is the same is that we all
understand Anxiety Disorder. We may all get a depressed feeling from time to time but
if it turns into chronic depression, it is best you see your doctor who will be able to help you. As for anxiety, we may not be professionals but we can tell you about our own
experiences in living with Anxiety as well as those of us who have found the key to acceptance of this disorder. After accepting that this is not a life threatening condition,
you can learn about other methods besides meds and therapy that will help you move
forward. I'm so glad you found us. Stay Positive, you have just taken the first step forward xx
Hi Agora, thanks for your responds. I think the same as you. I find it's very important to control this situation from the onset. That's why I appreciate every advice here. I'd love to share people my experiences and stories too. Although I'm not living in the State, so my situation might not be the same, but hey, we're here to help each other, so let's try our best!
So glad to see you here and having the courage to reach out. Do you notice a pattern of when you're feeling depressed? What is usually on your mind when you start to feel depressed? Keep us updated! Hope to hear from you!
