Welcome , everyone here that I have engaged with is wonderful and helpful. Don’t be afraid to respond to someone either if you read a post that you can offer support or encouragement . That’s how people can help each other , by responding as well as posting . Proud of you that you recognized your drinking was out of control and have stopped it! When you have anxiety and depression on top of an addiction it’s a slippery slope to go back to it and self medicate. Have you reached out to AA or are you working with a rehab program ? It’s critical that you have that support to be successful. I am part of an Al-Anon group on line ,it helps though in person may be better - I can’t do that right now. My alcoholic husband (who is in denial) also has depression and anxiety and he won’t address those either - he knows everything.....

I’ve had depression and anxiety forever, it peaked in my late teens and has just been up and down ever since . I manage but some days are worse than others , there is usually one or two days a month I can’t manage work and call in sick. I’ve recently started a new job and I am trying very very hard not to do that . It is a different job than I had before so the stress is still there but it isn’t as hard to manage so I’m hopeful I’ll be ok . In any event welcome and post or message anytime , people respond !

You are at the right place. Everyone here deals with at least one of those issues. I would encourage you to read posts here. You can search through ones with a similar topic. You will learn a lot. You can post questions or just vent. Welcome!
