Struggling with taking anxiety meds

I have just started teachers college. I build up lots of hope for my new proffesional direction. As the year began, I have encouter some old difficulties I have known in the past in new beginnings and situations like this. It was a real struggle taking my anxiety meds. It is if im admitting im weak and less functioning comppered to other students. The panic and anxiety were really hard to endure so I didnt have much choice but to take the meds. I wander if its just me or is it a common thing to ressist and battling your self to take this emergency meds ?

If you consider the meds as a means of coping and survival and not a weakness then it might be easier to take it.

Think of it this way - people with diabetes are not "weaker" because of their condition - but they need and use it to function daily.

Remember, it's not emergency meds but rather essential!
