Can you request a blood test?

Can you request a blood test when going to the doctor? They always offer it but can the patient request one? Sorry I know this isn’t anxiety related

Yes you can request a blood test- in my opinion it’s a very good idea! This is something I myself have done before! It’s good to be your own health advocate &know your own body, be aware &if something feels or seems off why not request what you feel you need? Can’t see why not ? I’m glad you posted this because it’s reminding me to be a better health advocate to myself take better care of myself -I used to do a much better job of it and it’s like I’m not trying much or enough anymore to do things I need to!!👏🏼☺️
