Switching meds!! Having a very scary time! Help

I just switched to a new medication and I am very nervous about it. I just wanted to ask if anyone has ever weaned themselves off of Venlafaxine!!! I have had 2 really bad days. I use to be on 150 mg and now I am down to 35 mg 3 days left. I will then be starting Viibryd. If anyone has any input on these medications that would be great.
I’ve never taken venlafaxine but I do take Viibryd in conjunction with Abilify... miracle drugs for me!! It took me about 5 years and idk how many different meds/med combos to get the right one, but when I did, it was like I was a whole new person!! I’ve been on this combo for around 2 years and it still works well for me. The only downside is the cost, it’s a bit more expensive than some others I’ve tried. But so so worth the money to feel good again! Good luck with it, I hope it works as well for you as it has for me!
Used Venlafaxine for about 7 years (150Mgm). No issues . Can't remember any side effects whenever I've discontinued venlafaxine but it was some time ago when I temporarily was taken off the drug as I've taken it for the last 7 years. I rarely suffer from side effects from drugs. best of luck to you.

I started on 150 mg Venlafaxine now on 75mg every other day. Till this last week is gone.
You should talk to your Dr. to determine the best titration method for you. That's what I did this time around. I have bedn titrating off for about a month.
It is very scary. I've cold turkey it about a yr ago. Strongly urge against it!
I am using CBD and lozapram as needed to help with withdrawals. But they are still pretty gnarly.
& when transitioning to another med it can take 2-3 weeks depending on medicine for the new medicine to start kicking in.
