Hello! Just checking this place out... Hoping to gain some more knowledge on anxiety and how to cope with it daily. Is feeling normal a thing when you have anxiety? Every day I pray that I will find a way to make myself feel "normal." Hoping to get some answers...

I'm new here...
I don't think you can "make yourself feel normal"....try acting normal and see if your mind gets the hint after a couple weeks or so. Google Neural plasticity...it's pretty interesting.
That is really interesting!!
Hi and welcome to this great community! So is your anxiety about something in particular or just general? Are you seeing a therapist and/or take meds?
Hi and welcome. Great graphic. Scary as I have many of those things. 😬
Everyone is incredibly nice here and I agree you can’t make yourself feel normal but you can ease all the symptoms by meds and therapy. And there are exercises that you can work on yourself.
Good luck and again, welcome!

Welcome!
There's no such thing as normal. But I hope this group does make you feel as if you're not alone. And I hope you learn how to manage your anxiety.
I'm not sure what "normal" means but I do have some days where my anxiety is worse or better than other days. I think you just have to find out the best ways for YOU to lower your anxiety. My anxiety usually spikes at night, so I try to read or write to let it out. It helps...it makes me a little more tired, and then I usually fall asleep faster rather than stay up until 3am with my mind wandering. Hope you can find something that works for you!
Hey! I’m new here, too. I guess, with anxiety. It’s up and down. I can feel really great for weeks, and then something will trigger it and I will feel extremely anxious again. I had to learn to be patient with myself. I prayed so much that God would take it away from me, but I know He works everything together for the good of those who love Him. And I know He loves you and I. So, yes, you will feel horrible some days, but you will also feel “normal”, too. Have you ever talked to a counselor or a doctor?
