Verbal abuse is just as worse as phsyical. Sometimes I feel invisible which is good at times. We now live in a superficial world I'm 46 now and back when I was young it wasn't as bad as it is now. I feel so empty inside

So sorry for the struggle. Yes, verbal abuse is difficult to overcome. I think it's because there are no visible marks left by it, yet it can hurt worse. Perhaps journal your feelings to let them out in a safe way. Or seek some form of therapy to learn some coping skills. You deserve to be treated with love, but not everyone we interact with knows how to do that. Do what you can to take care of yourself. Prayers for peace and strength.
