It hurts when others call me names

Verbal abuse is just as worse as phsyical. Sometimes I feel invisible which is good at times. We now live in a superficial world I'm 46 now and back when I was young it wasn't as bad as it is now. I feel so empty inside

Nowadays people throw words like daggers, as if it was normal. Just remember there are people that don’t think you are what others call you. You’re loved, some people just don’t have enough true love in their hearts to give to others.

I hope they realize you’re amazing.

Yep, words hurt so much and u can't take them back. I'm just tired of hearing the same word over and over.

I understand. I was told I’ve “been a bitch ever since [my] dad died” when I was in middle school. Now I hate it more than any other and it’s a sore spot if ever sad. You are not what they call you

in reply to sadfacesushi

Yes. It is not what they call you; it's what you answer to.

Always

You know the truth! People call you names at 46? Who would do such a thing? Think about what a low-life that would take! What does this person call you and why?? 🌷🌞🌷

Heartless cold people, ugly is what I'm called. Some say I'm not but when I'm called ugly it does hurt my feelings.

in reply to Darknlovely504

Of course it hurts your feelings...I’m so sorry that you’re dealing with such hatred. You’re not ugly. True beauty comes from within. Act like it doesn’t bother you. Forget them!! Move forward with your journey...I’m wishing you peace 🌺🙂🌺

Who is calling you names? Is it your partner? There are a lot of names men use to slag off women, far more than there are for them. I hate the B word as well and if anyone uses it against me I just say it means a strong woman. Fight back, let it go over your head, or run is my advice. x

No not a partner random people some I know some I don't know I don't like being called a b neither. That's why I stay single men will call us names to. Sometimes I'm able to overlook it but when I'm already feeling low it hurts it makes me cry

No it's awful they way men call us names. I hate even words like chick or bird don't you. Stay away from people like that as much as possible as they aren't worthy of your time or attention. Maybe call them names back? There are a few for men after all. Or just tell them to get lost. They have a flaming cheek doing that to you and no wonder you hurt! x

It's really sad all around

Yes. Names hurt. My sister was a breech birth and it messed up the shape of her forehead so people were mean to her a lot. But my kids loved her like she was another mom to them and I think she was one of the most beautiful people I have ever known. We lost her in 2006 and my life has not bee the same since then. There’s not a day that goes by that I don’t miss her. She was my best friend. I now know looks are fleeting. All of us are going to get older and not be as grand as a beautiful 20 yr old in looks. But what is important is the love and compassion we give to ourselves and others. All that will matter in the end is love.

My condolences some things are not out fault if a person is born a certain way its not on us but people still will be mean and cruel I'm just sick of it

in reply to Darknlovely504

Sometimes bullies target people that they know won’t fight back because they’re actually quite sensitive themselves. At this point, I would try saying something ugly back to them, I mean, what do you have to lose? Maybe if they see that you’re going to fight back, they will move on. Think of something nasty to say...❤️😉❤️

Names don't bother me at all, especially online. I would rather people had the freedom to call me what they want, when they want, than have censorship. online. But don't get me started on the 'thought police' in the UK/
