Dealing with big problems.

So finally went to see a dentist. They told me that I have to get 3 root canals or get 3 teeth pulled. The root canals are gonna cost me $1,500 total. My insurance doesn’t cover it. I’m so mad I don’t know what to do.

Hi Cat, this is just a thought. In Chicago, you can get a substantial reduction with any procedures if you go to a Dental School of Medicine. Students under the guidance of their professors may be able to perform oral surgery as well as root canals. Each university is different, you would have to check in your vicinity. Good Luck

It is tough. I am not sure what to advice but try to think it thru ...don’t get too upset.

I can relate right now not with dentist but other medical issues. Scared to see a doctor because of medical bills.

Wow, me too! Plus, I grind my teeth and ruin them so I need a very expensive bite guard.

It is kind of hokey but I read one of those New Age books a long time ago. A girl always wanted a parrot. She saw one but it cost as much as her rent which was due. Well, she told herself she trusted the Universe and she would find her needs met. She bought the parrot. The next day, an unexpected check came to her that was the exact same price.

I sure hope this is a story both of us can relate to in the near future!
