Are there other people who struggle with meds. I could only sleep 4 hrs on lexapro gained 30 lbs.

I did not gain weight on 10 mg per day. About sleep : if I took it in the morning I was ok, if later in a day - I also could not sleep

I went on lexapro but had such awful side effects that I quit after two weeks. I couldn’t sleep and was so sick that I could barely eat or make it to work. It was terrible. I think I started on 25 mg.

I am sorry you are struggling with your medication. Sounds like lexapro may not be the medication for you. You should discuss with your doctor other medication possibilities. It took me about a year to find the right medication. For me Wellibutrin works though over the years the doses have been adjusted. I will be praying you find the right medication. Hugs!

It is so difficult to find meds! I gained 20lbs during the process! Makes me feel horrible! Took me around 1 yr to find one that works okay. Just keep trying! I know it is so frustrating but, worth it if you find the right one. Good luck!
