What’s your side effects anyone taking Prozac etc.

I’ve been on it for about a week and a half. So far headache nearly everyday, up and downs with anxiety and depressed moods, sometimes feel frustrated or like this weird pent up energy anxious feeling, increase sex drive, and just this weird pressure on top of my head. Should I be concerned? This is my third time with Prozac and I’ve never had this like this before.

In my experience I would have crazy mood swings for the first 2-3 weeks. Like 1 hour of a depressive episode and then 10 minutes of near-mania. I actually had a very decreased sex drive but after being on it for a while I’ve regained it.

Everyone handles medicine differently and if anything you should talk to your doctor. I was on Lexipro for literally 2 days and told my doctor how awful it made me feel and he switched me immediately to Prozac.

Yeah, that's so interesting! My first two weeks of prozac was this kind of panicky insomnia. My shrink asked me to keep a journal

Hey, I hope the Prozac side effects are getting better or that you may have found another suitable drug. Listen.....all drugs are designed to help but sometimes trying one, or i could say, experimenting with one is like taking a leap of faith. Maybe you won't even realize what's going on or that the medication is doing what it's supposed to do until its all done and maybe there'll be a lot of heartaches in between.

This disease, it's tricky and it's complicated, and so are the chemicals that we use to help it, but God will make a way. He can do anything.
