I don’t know if it is that, but I have been struggling to feel connected to people, and with feeling lonely. Maybe you could try to talk to them about it, because possibly something could be going on. Just try to talk it out before you jump to a conclusion about your mental health. (not meaning to say that your concern isn’t valid) hope this helps!
It could be the start of depression
Has anything in your life or with your friend changed recently? Is something underlying bothering you?
So it can all be part of depression
Keep your chin up
Let your friend know so they don’t thing there is something wrong with your relationship. Friends are what keeps us going.
If you are stressed, or depressed, you may find you are on edge and uncertain how to react. Doubts on your concerns may need to be addressed.
Consider any reasons why you feel so low when with your friend and family members.
Sometimes we can change, our outlook to people around is can also become problematic.
Has anything happened to cause this problem, sometimes some activity can instigate change and expectations
