I have been off my meds for a month or so.. I'm ok as well but aniexty is still there.. I smoke marijuana on occasion if it's really bad.. I am going to look into CBD oil.. so I could take it during the day before work (No THC in the oil).. beside that hmm breathing exercises helped me out of a full blown attack the other day..i had a minor aniexity attack.. I was shaky but I slowed my breathing and was calm in 10 mins or so... so yes I think it can be manageable without meds.. it will be there still but wouldn't you rather feel alive and yourself rather than medicated and a "dull" version of yourself... I just found I wasn't me on meds.. well a version of me I didn't like..
I’ve never been on medication unless you count some marijuana personally I don’t think those medications fix it they just put a wall up between you and your problems. Social anxiety is hard because it is simply triggered by being around people you worry what they will think or say or do and you don’t always know how to react. I find it helps to have a least one person you are comfortable with around at first and then work up to to being by yourself. I’ve had fewer panic attacks while being around people but still don’t really like talking to people. And music is magic helps me not focus so much on the people around me
