Health worries

Anyone else worry constantly about heir health? I feel like it never stops for me. There’s always something wrong...I’ve got these dry red patches on my upper lip and I feel like it’s something serious. They’re not fever blisters...and have been there for a week. Other than that, I have hip flexor issues due to an injury at the gym, and am having a procedure done for something else June 20 that’s putting me out of work for over a week. Wtf?!!! Why is it one thing after another? I know people have way more to be worried about their Health. I can’t help it! It’s a constant worry...I obsess about it, and my husband gets so frustrated and tells me I’m worrying about nothing. Help!!

Are you under a lot of stress? Sometimes when people are under stress and feel they can’t control things they can obsess about things they can control like their health.

I don’t think so! I struggle with a lot of anxiety and a little bit of depression...but have for the past 4 years. On and off meds...currently just started again about a week ago. I’m 32 and have lost a few close friends and family. But I don’t think this is causing stress at this moment. I’m so frustrated...and also feel bad for my husband. I know he gets tired of me going to the dr all the time or complaining about something. I’m not making anything up! There really is something going on...

You know yourself best. If you think something is wrong and you don’t feel well then I don’t see anything wrong with pursuing for an answer. Are you sure losing a few friends and family hasn’t maybe subconsciously caused you to worry about your health?
