Pink eye

I was diagnosed with pink eye but I think it's something else and I need to go to the er my mind is telling me I will lose my eye sight

It sounds like you’re feeling pretty anxious right now. I am a nurse. I can’t give you medical advice in any way but I’d like to listen and maybe try to help. Were you prescribed some drops or an ointment for the pink eye? I can tell you that if you were, it generally takes being on the medication for about 48 hours for the symptoms to start to clear up. I would encourage you to always do what you feel is right, but to know that going blind from conjunctivitis would be extremely, extremely unlikely.

The Dr gave me tobramycin for the infection and prednisolone for swelling but it's not working at all
