Yawning with Panic?

Does anyone else yawn a lot when they are having a panic attack?

I actually force myself to yawn. My anxiety attacks cause me shortness of breath so it helps me regulate my breathing.

So, I don’t think it has happened with a panic attack, but definitely with asthma attacks. When you aren’t getting enough oxygen you will yawn to try and get a deeper breath. I’ll bet your body is trying to help you out in taking a deep breath.
