What is a good prescribed medication for anxiety?

Hi mindracer i presume you have been diagnosed with anxiety in that case your doctor is the only ones opinion that matters ! Ive tried citalopram which a lot of people get its not bad its just that it wasnt working for me as i had been on it for a long time im now on amitriptalene,venefalaxine and quetiapene its a lot of meds but nessessary as i also have depression and other medical problems ! I would suggest cbt or relaxation therapy and check with your doctor thats the best thing for your self that way you will get better quicker all the best hope you get well soon david

I take lexapro for mine and it helps a lot.
