Day Two
I'm glad you feel better, but my doc always told me to wait 7 weeks for a new med to kick in. Maybe you'll be lucky and improve faster. Time will tell.
I also noticed a positive difference right away when I started Effexor. I didn't notice as dramatic change when I went up in dose, but mostly noticed the side effects.
I told my dr I noticed positive result right away when I initially started Effexor and asked him if it was placebo effect but he said some people do notice it right away. Maybe our brains were so starved for neurotransmitters that even the slightest increase was noticeable? 🤔
Glad it's helping you!

Me and my family noticed the change in my son straight away when he started a very low dose of citalopram.
The prescribing nurse was sceptical and said it would take several weeks to kick in but we definitely saw improvements in him.
From being extremely withdrawn and low we saw him make eye contact more, use longer sentences when he spoke to us, smile more. I don't know if it was a placebo effect or not but I was very thankful for it.
I hope your medication works really well for you.
