Hello all. I've posted before about my horrible morning anxiety. Here I sit another day trying to shake it off before I get ready for work. Will this ever end? It seems to have gotten just a wee bit better, but nevertheless, it persists - especially on work days. Yes, I'm on medication, but I have to wait for that to kick in a little before I start getting ready. I just keep praying that eventually this subsides. That's really all I have to write today because it helps to write it down. Thanks, as always, for listening. This is sucha great site with so much support. You are all awesome.

I'm sorry you go through that around having to go to work. Are you anticipating something going on at work that triggers you. Is there something actually going on at work your not comfortable with, or is it social anxiety in general.
Thanks for your reply. It's social anxiety in general I think, coupled with a job I'm not really comfortable in. I feel like I'm wishing my life away because I can't wait until the weekend. Thank God today is Friday. I feel better on Friday mornings. I spend time looking for another job, but at 60 years old, my options are limited.
I'm in my sixties too and have a 40 work week too, and yeah, you bet I can't wait for the weekends. I understand that all too well. I hear you though about the social anxiety and am sorry your going through it, at our age we just want things to smooth out in life a bit. Glad your here sharing.
