Also,
My employer has an agreement with a Employee Resource Center (counselors who provide 45 min sessions paid for by employer and done so anonymously)
We get 10 sessions per insurance year.
I've gone several times, several different years over the past 15.
They are only counselors and often are directly to create action plans rather than openly listen to concerns.
When is time to just seek out a psychiatrist or psychologist?
Television and media make out like anyone and everyone sees one, but I don't even know how to find one. I can find very untrained "counselors" easily. I get my medications from my regular doctor, who pretty much lets me tell him what I wanna take (doesn't seem like the best way to do this).
