Hi Sara. Isn't it the worst feeling?. I can't I'm afraid give you any quick fix or wave a magic wand to take it away but what I can do is reassure you that you aren't alone here and we've all experienced what you are feeling in one way or another. Some of us come thro the other side and others still suffering. If you don't have alot of support...please come here as there's so many wonderful ppl who will talk you thro it. There's is a light Sara but you have to find it...one day, you will....really you will. It's such a daily struggle, I know this. As much as you don't think it..youve got this. Janie.

Really sorry you are going through this. Are you seeing a therapist or on any medication to help with the depression? Everyone here is willing to lend an ear whenever you need to talk.

If you can't find anything free or low cost with the online research, let us know, if you are in a larger city you can also try and find a support group that could help with resources too. Support groups are usually free.

Thank you.I live in Newyork.I will let you know if I cannot find low cost or free.

Hi Sara,

I suffer from the same symptoms as you and I am being treated at my Community Health Center. Maybe u can try to visit one in your area. Many of them offer low cost doctor visits to people with and without insurance. I am currently taking setraline and Vistaril for the symptoms.

Hi Sara! I'm so glad that you posted. Please stick around! There are so many of us here who've had or are dealing with depression and totally understand.

I'm a big believer in professional mental health when things get to the point that you're describing. You may feel much better with some medication. It can be hard to make that call but when offices are open again on Tuesday I urge you to make an appointment with your doctor.

In the meantime, if you need to talk to someone there are crisis lines you can call and you can always post here. You've got a lot of friends in this group who will not judge!

What medication is the best for anxiety, depression and fatigue? I’m on Zoloft 100mg and I’ve been on it for a month.

Only a doctor can prescribe you medication and know what is the best one for you to try. Be sure to completely describe your symptoms. What works for me might not work for you, so it wouldn't be fair to you to suggest something. A lot of us here are on different kinds of meds. Sending you best wishes for feeling better very soon in a brand new year!

Hi all.

Depression and anxiety go hand in hand. It is very common to have both. And they feed off of each other. I was lucky I got help before it was too late. Everyone responds to differently to different meds. For me, I take Imipramine, and small doses of Klonopin and Xanax. Has worked very well. And I only mention this because Sara had brought up price. It is 6 dollars a month TOTAL for all three of my meds. They are all older and have generics now. I have insurance but because they are so cheap it never kicks in(don't hit my deductible). Anyway, many doctors will push the latest drug on you. Just because it's the newest, doesn't mean it's the best. I can't take any of the SSRIs the side effects are too much.

Not what you're looking for?
