Hello everyone. Wanted to share this and see what other people experiences have been. I am still going thru some difficult times but lately I have found myself having moments of joy or maybe feeling normal again in my mind. Sometimes it lasts a few seconds. Sometimes minutes or hours. But unfortunately I always seem to go back to my negative thinking. I guess I should see this as a positive move in the right direction but it just leaves me feeling so low afterwards. Any advise?

Jld0010, My advice to myself has always been, embrace every moment you feel good no matter how long it should last. Don't anticipate difficult times. Small steps forward still lead to the final goal of anxiety free. Don't allow the Anxiety Monster to take over your thoughts. Say the words "STOP IT" and continue doing what you want to do. You are in control and the more you are the less often you will be bullied by anxiety. xx

Hi. Not much advice, but I can sympathize as I am feeling much like that. I guess I should take those glimpses of normalcy and enjoy them no matter how short lived. This site has taught me a lot about taking "baby steps" and living in that precise moment your are feeling up. Best wishes!
