Parenting Teen with Social Anxiety

Looking for support community of others parenting kids and adolescents with social anxiety and depression. I find it exhausting and could use some support and hope.

Hello, My 11 year old daughter has not been diagnosed with social anxiety but I'm afraid that is what shes dealing with. She will not go to a counselor or talk to me about it because I think she may be embarrassed. I can relate to her so much because she is so much like I was at her age and I myself still suffer form this anxiety and its made my life so hard. So it breaks my heart to see her like this. She is very down on herself and pretty much spends her time on computer games or her phone. she thinks no one likes her and her self esteem is so low it kills me not to have the answers to what she needs. If you can give me any advice I would so appreciate any I can get. If you need to talk I am here and know what your going through

I'm so sorry for what you're going through. Mental illness affects everyone in the family, no doubt about that. I hope you find the support you need.
