Struggling

I new and struggling with having anxiety every day. I can’t seem to pin point the reason. I have taken Celexa for a long time but it does. Not seem to be very effective. Can anyone suggest a different medication that you have had good results from. I was also wondering if there is someone who lives in the northern suburbs of Minnesota who would be available to get together with me. I am very isolated here and all my neighbors have children and are very busy. Since I moved here from Minneapolis I am very far from my friends and I have tremendous anxiety with driving. I live in Ham Lake Minnesota. Thank you very much. Jeanie

Welcome Jeanie135 Everyone reacts to medicine differently, what might work for me may not work for you and vice versa. I personally take Lexapro and it has helped me quite a bit. Have you ever had therapy? I think medicine mixed with therapy is just about the best approach! Hope you find this community as helpful as i have!

I haven't had any medications yet that worked for me. Maybe try asking your doctor of all the anxiety meds that are well known. Or try to ask your doc to increase your current dosage.
