It sounds weird but ever since the time changed I feel like my anxiety and depression is worse does anybody else feel that way then again I am in an office at a desk all day long and I barely see sunlight
Did anybody ever experienced there an... - Anxiety and Depre...
Did anybody ever experienced there any Anxirty or depression symptoms worse after the time change for daylight savings time
XD dude you ask the questions I need answers to. Are you my spirit animal?
Sometimes a change in routine can affect us, I think. Have been traveling through this "fall back" episode where the time zones are 4-5 hours ahead of the US mainland, after flying for over 24 hours. Talk about how to determine when my meds are to be taken.WHEW!...that's been effecting me....do I stay counting the hours in between doses on my home time which has by now become an hour later, or by the time zone I 'm traveing through each day...4-5 hours ahead of home, but these places are implementing the "fall back" of daylight savings times too. Whew, MY answer is, yep. Our bodies and minds and brains have internal clockwork and know when things are different and are trying to figure why WE are doing things differently when they had the old schedule down pat....and this business about where the sun is? Believe it effects many people not just the members in this venue. The poor kids must be really confused about going to bed an hour earlier than their internal clocks are telling them.
Think all's fine with you...as for me....I am just counting the same amount of hours between med doses and forgetting about the current time until I'm back home. An injection I need around 5 p.m. is now at 10-11 p.m. where I'm at currently. What a pleasant way to say good night....."Oh, dear...watch out for the 'sharpy' that just popped out of my epipen."
Yes I thought about getting a light box for that reason.
The night of the time change I randomly started getting really depressed
Me too!
It is called SOD =
Seasonal Effective Disorder. A lot of us suffer with it - including my self. When the sun is shining, go our on your lunch break, on the weekends if sun is out, get some. It is a clinical recognized disorder. Hope that helps you. Sending love and peace. Sprinkle l
Yes I definitely do too,What is up with that. I just told my sister the same thing and she looked at me wierd like I sounded crazy or something 😐
I just went to my ER cuz it got so bad, then got the mental health services came a saw me and they made everything so much better... they really changed my life, no joke. Those people are miracle workers. Guys please look into it if you feel it, it really really help me.
Yes, you're definitely not alone. I think for me it's because of the shortened days (my anxiety is always worse at night) and winter is always a trigger for my depression and I know once the time changes, it's well on its way.
Yes, I have it, too! Taking Vitamin D helps and I also have one of those "happy lights." They're expensive but I think help some people. In fact, I'm going to plug mine in right now.
anytime anything i mean anything changes in my life this happens to me especially the time change i come into work bright and sunny leave its pitch dark, had a few anxiety attacks but think im getting used to the time now and talk myself out of it or just go with it.
i reckon about 80% people suffer more in winter/cold/dark.clock change just makes it worse,it def affects me.miserable to see light go at 4pm.
YES! It gets dark at 3:30. I have my bright light set up at home to prevent me from going to bed by 6. Unbelievable how much it effects me. Time to move.
