Got to kick this anxiety which is creating dizziness and panic attacks
I would advise you to see a doctor for both the dizziness and anxiety/panic attacks if you have not already had these assessed by a doctor. Hopefully this doctor can determine what is causing both your dizziness and anxiety. If you are currently taking medications for anxiety, etc. then you may want to check the side effects of the medication(s) you take since dizziness is a common side effect with some medications. Indeed if this is the case, then you should contact the prescribing doctor of the medication to make the doctor aware that you're experiencing dizziness side effect of this medication. My doctor took me off a medication that caused dizziness.
Hi Kharki
I completely understand how you feel. Symptoms like dizziness are generally caused by an aggravated anxiety. However, I am happy to read that you have decided to step up and take corrective actions.
I would suggest some tips to try out:
1. Don't fight the feeling. Accept it. The more you fight your anxiety, the more you would get entangled in it.
2. Don't google or browse your symptoms over the internet. It maybe a small thing and the internet would only make it worse.
3. Exercise daily for atleast 45 minutes a day. Only light to moderate exercises are recommended. Don't go for intense exercises.
4. Listen to soothing music and sounds. It will help you to take your mind off stressful things.
5. Don't sit at one place for too long. Make sure that you go outside for a short and nice stroll, once in a while.
These are only baby steps towards a better life. Please let me know how it goes for you. All the best.
Sorry you are having these attacks, if you have a doctor who prescribes this med. then you should be given advise and a print out with the med. I always read the print out end to end and use my yellow marker for questions. Do not leave this to your doctor, you must do it and make your doctor helps you - that is what we are paying for.
