I am starting to get this urge to organize and clean things, and I need things to be perfect.... I have noticed an increase in my need for perfection and cleanliness around me, is this also common with anxiety/ depression or is this a problem that is unrelated?

My fiancé has OCD and she's in TOTAL denial.

i have this too. i am OCD about cleanliness and perfection too and many times it gets out of control. my doctor once told me that OCD is a part of anxiety. so this condition might be due to anxiety
I would say perfection becomes OCD when the moment comes and you find it impacting your life directly or your level of happiness and anxiety level. OCD comes in many forms. I am not a doctor but from experience Paxil is a very effective method of treating OCD. Maybe suggest it to your doctor to see if it may be right for you! All peace and love.
