Hiya David

I don't know if it's all in your head but my anxiety definitely takes the form of sweaty palms, breathlessness and burning like sensations through my arms and neck.

How are you feeling now? I hope it's passed as in my experience they always do

Losing your breath, and sweat, sounds like a potential panic attack. Maybe there is a specific trigger?

Here is an example that was given to me if it doesn't feel like an elephant is sitting on your chest it's not a heart attack. But what you described deffinately sounds like a anxiety attack or pannick attack. Talk to your Dr so he or she can give you medication for it. No one should have to rough it out because it's not in your head it's real and hurts like hell then for me tires me out for the day. I hate living with anxiety it's debilitating at times. I use A535 it smells like peppermint and it helps with the pain til the meds kick in to make your muscles stop tightening up.
