Do you get these side effects?

I have been increased on my Escitalopram from 20 mgs to 30 mgs. I am 2 weeks into my increase.

I am having ringing in my ears, and elevated blood pressure. I don't know if these are anxiety or side effects.

If anyone has had these please let me know. It worries me and I am waiting on my Drs office to call back.

Just need reassurance and please NO bad stories! I am med phobic.

Thank you

I googled it and it said ringing in the ears is a common side effect. Have you had your blood pressure taken by a medical professional? It doesn't mention this.

Hi lilaclil

I have a blood pressure monitor and I checked it myself because of the ringing. I know from the past if it goes up I would get the ringing.

Drs office called and my Dr and the Nurse are out today. The on call Dr wants me to drop my does back to 20 and I am scared to death. My panic attacks are awful at that dose that is why we increased. 😭😭😭

I'm only on 10mg of but they only make me drowsy so I take it at night. I haven't had those side effects it could be the anxiety. Maybe you should see a different doctor for a second opinion on the meds. Everyone different so what happening to you might not happen to others with the same medication.
