Does anyone else have bad physical symptoms? Dizziness, depersonalization, extreme fatigue, numbness?

weird physical symptoms are a real issue and often seem to provoke panic. I teach pupils with mental health problems and physical problems too. I have a brain injury and can really relate to the strange physical sensations you talk about. They are very distressing and can certainly cause that vicious circle of anxiety. If you feel up to saying more about the experiences you are having, I may be able to be more supportive?

I had a minor concussion in November. By January, I was still complaining of dizziness, fatigue, and just feeling "off" but my doctor said the concussion seemed to be gone. All my balance tests and eye tracking tests were back to normal. I still wasn't convinced so I got 3 blood tests, an MRI of my brain, an EKG, a CT scan, all which came back completely normal. I have been dealing with anxiety my whole life but now it is heightened and the doctor thinks that all of my physical symptoms are from anxiety. It makes sense, my anxiety seems pretty severe, but I just cannot accept that anxiety is causing me to feel this horrible

not everything has a simple explanation or answer. sometimes things don't show themselves on scans and tests. the only thing I can say is that all of that actually isn't the point, it's more about your quality of life and how you are dealing with your fears. anxiety does mimic some other things, but one thing is for sure - it would do know harm to look at how you pace yourself, do you rest when you are tired? do you keep hydrated? what about other things, physical things I mean, your own space where you sleep, is it restful and calming? I would say that you sound afraid that there is something really wrong with you physically, that as you say anxiety couldn't possibly make you feel so bad. sorry to say, it can. it can really overwhelm a person. the only good news is that anxiety is ultimately controllable, you can and will get on top of it. xx

I know it has been 4 months since your post, wondering how you are doing. Your story is kinda similar to what I have going on.

I had a fall and hit my head without confirmed concussion last November. Since then I continue to struggle with depression and anxiety. All of my ER visits are related to anxiety at least that is what I have been told. Test results are all coming back normal but I don't feel normal. I feel dizzy, no energy what so ever and no interest in doing anything.

Hope you are better.
